This is a major National event with Sky TV - so I would imagine large parts of the road systems around Pendle area will be either closed or restricted- hav'nt found a map of the route as yet but would imagine they would use the nick route as a major hill climb section as they have done before...

Well we are now in British Summer Time and we should be able to get out for a flight in the evening if the weather is right, but at the moment we have still to establish a suitable venue for the evening, we do aim to go down Towneley soon... but for now I'll prob be out at the BPAM power field ( Wednesday 7th's forecast)- The video shown below was film 12mths ago -22nd April down Bowley

Nice afternoons flying, sunny 10*C with a 15mph Westerly , picture is John Whiteside about to launch his Agressor, with camera attached on the tail just behind where hes holding it, its the small black keyfob sized thing with great quality videos - email the video file over and I'll put it on YouTube for you then we can all see the launch collision with the back of your head.....

Turned out to be a West so we were on the Bombhole it was light when I arrived but with lift to find which made flying interesting, the Xeno shows it will fly in light winds and thermals very well so who needs a motor set....Dave was out too but spent more time texting than flying - lol

Here’s one link to the camera itself – £11 (yes really) from Hong Kong , and that includes a charger, USB lead and postage! But you would also need a separate micro SD card – a 4GB one cost me about £7. Weighs 11g and supposedly will store up to 40 mins of footage.
